Part II: The New (Modern) Nautical Wedding…Maritime Parc, Jersey City, NJ

A few weeks ago, I was honored to share the first part of this shoot (here) that was featured on the wedding blog, Elizabeth Anne Designs. I am now equally honored to share the second part of this amazing shoot, which was recently featured on Every Last Detail as part of the Everything But The Bride series.

While we kept the basics the same, including our location at Maritime Parc and the color scheme of coral and gray, we infused a more modern feel into this segment of the shoot. From the beautiful “Audrey” gown from Winifred Bean, to the gold birdcage veil and feathered sash from Tessa Kim, everything was carefully chosen to give this classic theme a more modern twist! Here are some of my favorite shots…

Like the Romantic-Inspired section, L’Oasis Floral Design created some magnificent bouquets. Here she uses Juliet Garden Roses; coral, orange and peach Ranunculus white Peonies and Dusty Miller as an accent. The Bridesmaid bouquet consists of Charm Babe Spray Roses and white Hyacinth. The tablescape includes Breath of Spring Spirea; Poppies; Snow Ball Viburnum; white Hydrangeas; White Calla Lilies; Charm Babe Spray Roses and Dusty Miller.

I just love how our locally-sourced necklace drapes down her back with the dress!

Alice Kwartler was kind enough to loan some of her fabulous jewels for the shoot! Below is a  gorgeous vintage Tiffany’s engagement ring!

Special thank you to Nauman Piyarji Couturier for the suit and male model recommendation! His work is impeccable, down to the detailing on the inside of the suit jackets!

As it got closer to the shoot date, we thought it best to incorporate a bridesmaid into the theme! Hope is gorgeous in this coral dress I found at Zara (and maybe purchased a few things for myself!)

I have a soft spot for milk glass and just love seeing the multiple vases in addition to the traditional table centerpiece that L’Oasis and event coordinator, Ashley Espinal of Dulce Dreams Events created!

This next shot is one of my favorites from all of the tablescapes I have shot over the years!

Ashley decided early on that our seashells needed a little oomph with some gold paint! Love her creativity :)

I am beyond happy and so proud of the success of this shoot in its entirety! I can not thank all of the vendors involved enough for all of their hard work and dedication on such a rainy day in Jersey City! And be sure to check out the original feature on Every Last Detail!
