Weekend Warriors…Part I

I’m working backwards here folks! (Meaning Weekend Warriors…Part II will technically cover events that occurred before our Bonnaroo extravaganza.) But since today is the first day of summer, I feel this is the more appropriate post :) To me, nothing says summer more than being outside, hanging with friends, napping under trees and maybe, just maybe, enjoying an alcoholic beverage first thing in the morning! So without further ado, documentation of my first ‘roo awaits…Happy Summer!!!!!

Bonnaroo2013-

You just have to appreciate people’s willingness to stand out…

I’m a little sad I didn’t snap a photo of the amazing Amish donut booth, but the food trucks had some amazing fare…

I see a Free People ad written all over this one :)

Yes, this is the inside of a port-a-potty. I have to give Bonnaroo a lot of credit for keeping these as nice as possible. I never once had one without TP…

And then I saw this :)

Bonnaroo2013-16

One of the best performances (The Lumineers) if you were standing close enough to feel the energy onstage. This was a happy pit experience :)

Cleanup on aisle…

I honestly have nothing with which to compare this experience… made even better by great company and the most fabulous summer weather you could ask for (mid-80’s, breeze, no humidity). Just four days of music, love, smiles, and the most random conversations with complete strangers you will never see again. My life is a little more complete…
