I was excited when Dana told me that she and Mario were active people and loved nature. It was a bonus to learn they enjoyed exploring the southern tip of Randall’s Island, just over the Ward’s Island bridge from Manhattan at East 103rd Street. My boyfriend and I have enjoyed many a sunset picnic here, watching our favorite city shine across the East River. And so it was an easy suggestion, how about a bike ride-picnic combo session at sunset? Agreed :)
From the moment I met them, I liked them. Dana and Mario have such a carefree, loving spirit between them. When she put her hand to her belly and announced they’d be having a baby in October…so beautiful! I could not be happier for these two and wish them all the best!
The bikes we bought last summer at Target (yes, Target!) were perfect for this photo session :)
Baby bump alert!
They were going for a grunge-indie band look here…I’d say they nailed it!
I have to admit, I was happy I’d picked up Ginger Ale and grapes when Dana told me she’s a “baby portal.” One, that I didn’t get champagne. Two, I know how important it is to keep a woman (especially pregnant) fed!
This next shots is one of my favorites…like I’m not even there as they celebrate the moment…
Movie starts right here folks!
