Holiday Celebrations, the 2012 version…

As the dust settles after another whirlwind holiday season, I always love going back through my photos a week or so later to really appreciate the days spent with family and friends. Yes yes, it’s also partially because I just can not muster the energy to edit through all of the photos right after Christmas itself :)

This year’s photos capture all of the excitement of the season — wonderment over the toy train zooming around the base of the tree, excitement tearing into gifts, and all of the yummy treats you could eat and drink! But none can surpass the image that you will not see here….the look of bewilderment, shock and then ultimate excitement on my face as Steve plunked a Canon 5d Mark III box on our coffee table the Thursday before Christmas.”Not a gift,” he said, “but an investment in you.” I’d say I have everything I could ever want… and it has nothing to do with the new camera I have been happily playing with…
